Plan to purchase from locally collected native plant sources. Genetic variation exists for northern vs. southern plants, straight species vs. cultivated for bigger flowers, brighter blooms. Local insects, birds and ecosystems have evolved over thousands of years to function as an ecosystem. Buy Local!!
